About Claire Stanton

After studying photography at Milton Keynes College I worked for several years as a photographic assistant, gaining valuable practical experience. I have been photographing hockey since 2000, initially for my own enjoyment and professionally for the last few seasons.

I am based in Milton Keynes and cover hockey games in the south, with the occasional trip further north and overseas.  I have mainly covered ice hockey and have recently expanded to cover inline hockey. The first major event I have covered was the veteran's Christmas inline tournament in 2009.

As well as hockey, I also photograph motor sport events, weddings and undertake portrait photography.

My work has been used in sports programs, websites, to accompany articles in both the local and national press as well as overseas, in addition to use by sports personalities for personal promotions.  Currently I have a selection of images being exhibited and for sale at Planet Ice, Milton Keynes.
